LOG DRIVER'S WALTZ BIKEPACKING

Coffee rides

Some days a ride to a coffee is the right choice!
Mulligan's Meander

Starting from downtown Ottawa with the historic Rideau Locks dropping down to the Ottawa River this route will take you upstream past the Chaudiere Falls to the Champlain Bridge. Crossing over to the Quebec side or the river you will continue upstream on a forest lined bike-path to Aylmer were you can indulge in a coffee and a snack. Doubling back towards Ottawa you will stay on the Quebec side and take a side trip through a bit of old "Hull" before returning to the river near the Museum of History. Crossing over the Alexandra Bridge you will enjoy a panoramic view of the Ottawa River, Parliament, the Rideau Locks, the National Art Gallery and upstream the Chaudiere Falls. The return to your starting point will be through the old train tunnel that runs under Wellington St.
