Log Driver's Waltz

About

Log Driver’s Waltz is a tri-weekly blog about Canadian music.

If you own the copyright to any music sampled and would like it removed, please let us know and we’ll remove the sample immediately. Iif you are an artist and would like your music reviewed, email us your stuff. We make no promises, but we will certainly at least listen to whatever you send us. Log Driver’s Waltz encourages buying music. We use mp3s for sampling purposes only.

Mark Teo is not a writer. He just labels himself one to justify his solo drinking habits and excessive consumption of black coffee. Most actual writers are able to call his bullshit. More accurately, he’s a con artist. He’s used his bachelor of nothing from McGill University to scam his way into various administrative and teaching jobs – that is, until they called his bullshit, too. Most recently, his fraudulence has landed him in the journalism program at the University of King’s College. He’s in Halifax for the year, until the city deports him – just like they did in Toronto, Montreal and Seoul. Up next? The University of Phoenix.

A recent law school dropout, Casey Dorrell is currently a journalism student at King’s College in Halifax. He’s got a BA in poli sci/philosophy and glow-in-the-dark stickers on his apartment ceiling. He had little to do with either of these achievements. Someday he hopes to be happier and to maybe buy new shoes (his current footwear is better suited to housing water than feet). Also, he listens to music, a lot of music. Sometimes he writes about it.
